Ha ha, I just miss all these Jap lessons! But ah... doki doki means 'sometimes'? I must have read too much manga, because the first thought that came into my mind is the sound of the heart pounding! I think 'doki doki' is also used in Japan for that. XDD

Is actually tokidoki. I just love the way that word sounds: tokidoki, tokidoki or the way nothing sounds: zenzen.

'doki doki' will check that out.
Hot from the online dictionary:
dokidoki throb, beat (fast)

isnt "night" - yoru?

why "I was working" is - hatarakimasu? um I was sure that masu is for present tense, gentle form.
As it seems to me if "I WAS working" - that should be translated as
"hatarakimashita"?or if it's necessary to make a stress on duration it will be "hatariite imashita"
*confusion*

next, I wake up at 6 o'clockevery morning - shouldn't we use maiasa instead of just asa?

gozen - 2:00 am gogo - 2:00 pm - not 12? 0_o

thank you for the lesson btw =)

I was sure that masu is for present tense, gentle form. It is, it is.

It seems that comfusions comes from the fact that in this lesson we didn't learn about past tense, so that's why we used hatarakimasu. (Maybe I should change trans.)

shouldn't we use maiasa instead of just asa We could, we could, but maiasa we learnt in the next lesson, so we don't know it here and so we didn't use it.

gozen - 2:00 am gogo - 2:00 pm It's just an example.
